We have lots of new things going on at Dolia at the moment, and we are excited to share these with you.
Weekly Walks
Now that we are able to meet up in groups of six outdoors, we have started going on our weekly walks again. We met up at the office and went on a walk around Farleigh Wallop last Friday, stopping for a drink at the local pub garden. It was great to catch up with the team and enjoy the sunshine!
These walks are beneficial for our mental health and form part of our Happy Heads campaign, recognising the importance of mental health in the workplace.
Happy Heads
On the subject of our mental health campaign, Happy Heads, we have got a few things planned for this. Despite some difficulties during the pandemic, such as the cancellation of various fundraising events, we have been able to keep our project going on a smaller scale. We are looking forward to continuing to raise awareness and money for mental health charities and learning more about mental health in the workplace.
Something to look out for in future is the Three Peaks Challenge, which Joe is planning to do in support of a few different charities, including a mental health charity.
New Website
With so many website design projects on the go, it can be hard to find time for our own website! We thought it was time to give the Dolia site some attention, so we've created a brand new design and we look forward to sharing this with you soon!
New Team Member
Following recent growth in the business, we are pleased to say that we have recruited a new team member. Hannah will be joining the Marketing department from the start of May to help support our clients with their SEO and Digital Marketing packages.
Returning to the Office
As a team, we have coped well with working remotely, but it's not quite the same as being in the office. Some of us have started working there again full-time or part-time, and we are all gradually returning to the office. It’s great to have the flexibility to work from home or at the office, and this is something that we are looking at carrying forward even after social distancing restrictions are lifted.
